John & Siming Macpherson of  Spirit of the Lotus Tea Co. are catering a special Asian inspired high tea after the wedding ceremony as well as demonstrating a Chinese Tea Ceremony. The menu is listed below course by course:

Iced Early Grey will be served after the ceremony.

First will be a soup and salad course consisting of Chinese Vegetable Soup with Mushrooms & Green Onions and a Garden Salad with Sesame-Ginger dressing.

The Next Course will consist of dim sum including BBQ Pork Buns, Har Gow, Sui Mai, Dumplings, & Spring Rolls.

The Main Course options include Sesame-Mandarine Chicken with Rice & Chinese Vegetables OR Shrimp & Scallop Stir-Fry with Noodles & Stir-Fry Vegetables. The following teas will be served with dinner: Doke Jasmine (White); Huoshan Huangya (Yellow); Shui Hsien (Oolong); Korakundah Decaf (Black).

For dessert, guests will be served steamed Red Bean Buns and Mochi with the choice of Coconut or Mango Bubble Tea.

A traditional cake will be cut and served as well, at the request of the brides mother...I guess the dessert above is not enough for some.

There will be several types of beer, wine, or Champagne for everyone.
